As she finished her house cleaning in the time of cameras (the sweeping and dusting, wiping of
fans, washing and drying and stacking), she took a walk into forest, looked at the large and the
small, took a picture of snail on rock, and then rock, and then underside of rock, then a cave
into earth. She found butterfly, leaf floating, bird suddenly lifting like lightning. When the light
became too low, she carried herself home, put the camera on table, went to fix meal. The
camera leaked out dirt, snail, rocks and slugs, spiders, ants, leaf piles, birds. Before bed, she put
out broom, mop, another day.
